If you can't afford a built-in, free standing or wall mounted range cooker, the least expensive option is most likely an electric pressure cooker, or induction cooker.
Obviously you won't get the full range of options that standard electric cookers offer, however for those of you that either rent a home without a cooker of its own, or simply don't have the space in your home or office, these options will certainly suit your needs.
We suggest going with some of the more reputable brands such as: Fagor, Electrolux, GE, Whirlpool, Bosch, Frigidaire, Jenn-Air, KitchenAid, Thermador etc. while most of these manufacturers are available worldwide, some are only available in North America, and this is by no means a complete list.
For a complete list of induction cooking products and makers, see this page. In the near future, we plan to provide a full list of some personally recommended electric cookers that are most certainly on the inexpensive side, without sacrificing quality.
